CRAZY LAMPS TO LEFT COAST BOHO | ANTIQUE VINTAGE SHOP ALONG

Here we are in fabulous Springfield Ohio, where the fall antique extravaganza draws shoppers and YouTubers from across the country! I’m playing hooky from selling for some Sunday morning bargain hunting, wondering who I’ll run into along the way?

First, it’s my friend with the fascinating sales premiums and lithography ad posters. Across the street, friends and viewers have a big space with fun and functional vintage…I happily leave money and take a few items! Both report good sales for the weekend.

Heading back to drop purchases at my booth, I run into Laura & Chris @Laura Caldwell, and we have a lot of fun at a Swedish modern inspired space. How much is it? We have to wait to find out, but cool Israeli pottery and a great mushroom canister set are headed to Oregon, while I score two of the five lamps I find this morning! (Hint: people don’t want to take lamps and larger/fragile items like shades home at the end of a show.)

Our YouTube vintage channel meet up is big and spontaneous, as we all converge onto the center of the show during a slowish morning where our crowd size is noteworthy! We join the circle with Jocelyn @Crazy Lamp Lady, Jeffrey & Barb @Real Nifty Vintage, Michael Todd @The.Cult.Of.Vintage, and Misty & Mark @Thrifter, Junker, Vintage Hunter.

As fun as it is to gather, we all realize this huge show has enough for everyone if we divide and conquer! So off we go in groups again, until we see another convergence at a table of depression era graphic ephemera, a feast for the eyes with sufficient deals to thrill any thrifter.

I’m very grateful to everyone for coming to Ohio and making this a very special and fun weekend!
