Buck & Jo's May Have to Permanently Close after Standing for Freedom. Standoff with HPPH - Nov. 2021

Buck & Jo’s would like to thank everyone for their support over the last few years. Sadly, yesterday (Sunday) may have been our last day. We will be closed this week to prepare for the trial, and may not reopen depending on what happens at the trial on Thursday.
It was truly inspiring that so many of you came to Wingham to stand beside us when the health department threatened to return with armed OPP 12Nov2021. You helped us stand our ground armed only with video cameras, despite the threat that “men with guns” were to be coming. You helped defend our tiny restaurant from segregation enforcement, and will we forever be grateful.
Our plan was to try and stay open until the trial, despite it making zero business sense as most of the locals abandoned us after HPPH claimed they shut us down. Enough money was raised via GoFundMe to keep the lights on and taxes paid for those months we closed instead of surrendering to the segregationists. Freedom Fighters from across Ontario made it a point of stopping in during the following months to support us. Thank you!
It will take a miracle at trial in front of a packed courtroom for the damage they caused to be reversed.
This is more than likely Goodbye.
