We’re Judged For Having 18 Kids | MY EXTRAORDINARY FAMILY

HAVING 18 children is a lot to deal with. Christopher and Desiree can’t remember a time when they’ve had a house to themselves. They spend between $10K and $15K on birthday and Christmas presents for the children each year. On a weekly basis, they spend between $250 to $500 every time they buy groceries. They usually buy four to five gallons of milk at a time. “It doesn’t take much for us to fill up the fridge", Desiree says. They’ve received plenty of judgement for having so many children. People complain about them bringing more people into the world but Desiree says: “We’re raising people who are going to put into society and put into the world and be more of an asset than a liability." As is often the case with siblings their children often get on each other's nerves but there’s never a dull moment. Today they're giving us a house tour and an insight into their lives.
