Tory Lanez trial date for the SHOOTING of Megan Thee Stallion is set, and the question is will he be found GUILTY or NOT? West Coast music executive/manager, Wack 100 and Gossip-Vlogger/Pod-Caster, Akademiks both scream, "no, HELL NO!" But I, say yes, and not because I want to see the Canadian born rapper behind bars -- because I DON'T.

No, it is just the way California Penal Codes were crafted. IT'S RIGGED, and unfortunately Tory Lanes will soon learn why. Let me explain.

Btw, if you've been under a rock over the last two years and clueless as to who Tory Lanes is, and his connection to W.A.P. popster Megan Thee Stallion, here's a break down of the case:

Lanez, whose legal name is Daystar Peterson, was charged in 2020 with shooting Megan Thee Stallion in her feet outside of a car while the two were in Hollywood Hills, California. Authorities charged the rapper with felony assault and in November 2020 he pleaded not guilty.

Now the case is headed to trial in September, and Megan Thee Stallion is divulging more about what happened as she covers Rolling Stone's July/August Hot Issue, telling the magazine that before the incident occurred she had a "real connection" with Lanez.

"I thought he knew me. And I never would’ve thought he would’ve shot at me at all," Megan Thee Stallion said in the interview published Wednesday. "I never did anything to him. There was an argument. People argue every day. Friends argue every day.”

In the "Savage" rapper's first interview about the incident with Gayle King on April 25, she said the argument broke out between her, Lanez, and her ex-best friend Kelsey Harris as they left a pool party because the Texas-born rapper was "ready to go, and everybody else wasn't ready to go."

The argument ended in gunfire, with Lanez as the alleged shooter, leaving Megan Thee Stallion in fear of the future.

"What nobody knows is, I had to get the surgery the same night. I stayed in the hospital in California for maybe four days," she said, adding that after her hospital stay she wasn't able to walk.

"I still have bullet fragments in my feet right now. I was very scared that I was not able to be Megan Thee Stallion no more," she said.

The impending trial has been the background of many of Megan Thee Stallion's life successes. But the case has also overshadowed her accomplishments with online harassment, the 27-year-old rapper said, describing that there will be "20 people at-ing me at one time, saying crazy stuff."

"In some kind of way I became the villain," she said. "I wonder if it’s because of the way I look. Is it because I’m not light enough? Is it that I’m not white enough? Am I not the shape? The height? Because I’m not petite? Do I not seem like I’m worth being treated like a woman?”

In April, Lanez was taken into custody after a judge said he had violated a protective order by harassing Megan Thee Stallion online after the judge said some of his tweets appeared to be clear messages to her. He was released hours later after posting bail.

Another pretrial hearing is scheduled for July 28 and the trial is set to begin Sept.14, according to court documents.

"I want him to go to jail,” Megan the Stallion told Rolling Stone. “I want him to go under the jail.”
