In this #YouTube #Shorts Episode, we stop in at Live Action Games in Champaign, IL to check out a RARE Chrono Trigger 1995 Promo T-Shirt!

I have to admit that I have never been an RPG fan, longtime viewers of this channel know this. As such, I don't have the affinity for titles such as Final Fantasy, or the subject of this episode, Chrono Trigger. Even though I am not a fan of the series, I can respect the work and effort that went into these games. While pre-order bonuses are common now, in the era of the Super Nintendo and Super Famicom, they weren't as common. That is what sets the item recently traded in apart, it's uniqueness and rarity.

Adrian, the owner of the store, was excited to show me this on a recent visit. The shirt is in absolutely pristine condition, and much of that is thanks to the fact that this came from the original owner. That's right, the person who got this on launch day has had this in their personal collection for over 25 years! But that's not all! It's never been worn, it has never even been LAUNDERED! That's right, since it was printed it has never even been washed!

This is a super-crispy shirt, from start to finish. the artwork looks like a framed photo emblazed proudly across the front, depicting one of the battles from the series with Chrono, Frog, and what appears to be Marle. The artwork is notable for its anime-style, which is bright and vibrant.

As I say, even as someone who is not a fan of the series, or even the RPG genre, I have to say this is darn cool to see in-person. While it is not to the same level of excitement that I had for the NES Test market system this is still super cool to see. Thanks to Adrian for showing it to me, and allowing me to share it with all of you!

Have you ever seen something like this out in the wild? What would you be willing to pay for something such as this? Would you wear it? Frame it? Let me know in the comments!
