In this YouTube #Shorts Episode, we have made some progress in the new game room, while we get to see if Murphey Mayhem & Molly Mae approve.

In October 2021, we uprooted our family and moved about 10-miles from our old home, closer to my in-laws and my wife's work. With this, we also had to pack up and move our old game and media room, transport it, and plan on how we are going to setup our new digs. While we were moving, we also received some new products we need to unbox and test out from the great folks from NexiGo, Retro-Bit, Retro Fighters, and more.

There are a lot of cool gear we have to unbox and check out once we get the game room setup, and one of the things I am most looking forward to is unboxing and testing out the new Nintendo Switch OLED. There are a number of different hardware changes I am very interested in testing out. I want to see how the unit feels in the hand, if the screen really is improved, and how different accessories work with the OLED. One of the first things I want to test is if it works with the Fixture Gaming S1 handheld mount, which is my de-facto way to play the Switch in Handheld Mode. We'll see!!

The team at Retro Fighters also just sent us their most recent update to the Brawler64, this one being a wireless version with an included USB dongle to use with PC, Switch, and RetroPi boxes. Fro their website, "The Brawler64 USB Wireless gamepad is a completely redesigned N64 controller (for use with PC/Switch) with next generation features and attributes – providing a new and comfortable way to play your favorite classic games like never before."

Retro-Bit has been a longtime supporter, and they have sent us an updated version of their Super Retro Trio 3+. This version has a new set of controllers which looks to more closely resemble the original SNES-style vs the completely original design the system first shipped with. I liked the controllers the SRT3+ originally came with, but I also recognize it is not for everyone. We're going to be taking another deep look at this system in a future episode, PLUS we're working on a giveaway. Stay tuned!

NexiGo have really stepped up their support in the last year or so, and they have delivered some exciting stuff for us to check out for the PS5. First up is their PS5 Wall Mount, so we can keep our system up and out of the way nicely. Next, is a new laydown horizontal stand for the PS5 that just puts the Sony one to shame. It looks to provide a much more sturdy platform without worring about your system falling off. Finally, and this is super cool, there's a new shell for the PS5 and the DualSense controller in a bright red design, and I cannot wait to bolt these on!

I love the mini cabinets from New Wave Toys, and we have another to add to the collection here. The 1942 x cabinet looks and plays like it's 1:1 scale counterpart, at a fraction of its size and cost. Like all New Wave Toys cabinets it features a wonderful display, arcade-accurate ROM, great sound, and more.

Finally, KMD, one of our favorite accessory brands, sent along some Playstation Controller Charging Docks and 2 headsets. These all look great, and if they are anything like other accessories from KMD, we're sure to love them.

Make sure to subscribe to the channel to keep up with all our updates as we get new content posted and updates for the game room. We are excited at all the new content we'll be having up soon, along with a few giveaways!
