#1. 독일 인플레이션 문제에 대한 영미학자들의 논쟁은 보상 문제에 대한 논쟁만큼 치열하다. 인플레이션이 배상이 시작되기 전부터 벌어졌느니, 독일정부의 정책에 문제가 있었느니, 지불해야 할 배상금보다 해외융자를 더 많이 받았다느니, 형식적 배상금액과 실제 상환액에 차이가 있느니 하는 것들이다. 하지만, 이런 논쟁은 결과를 무시한 채 입싸움만 벌이는 진실에 물 타기이다.

돈을 못 갚게 했으니 돈 찍으라 했고, 초인플레이션이 그렇게 의도적으로 일어났으며, 해외자본은 자산탈취에 매진했으며, 독일국민은 이를 막을 지도자를 원했으며 그래서 이들은 히틀러를 등장시킨 것이다. 누구나 이해할 수 있는 상식적인 연쇄 사건을 두고 디데일한 논쟁을 일삼는다는 것은 다른 의도가 있어서라고 볼 수밖에 없다.

#2. 미국 소유인 IG Farben은 Zyklon-B를 만들었고 그것으로 유태인을 학살했다고 알려져 있다. 그렇다면 미국 정부도 기업도 모두 이 학살에 동참한 것이다.
