In the Bible in Matthew, Mark, and Luke; Jesus predicts the desolation of Jerusalem including the destruction of the temple in 70 AD, Gentile domination throughout history, and the coming final abomination just prior to the worst tribulation in all of human history. Mankind will not survive this coming time without direct intervention from God to cut it short.
