9mm EPC/PCC for Home Defense? Will it GET THE JOB DONE? Hornady Critical Defense Balistic Gel Test

I've tested these critical defense in two different calibers now and they don't have the prettiest expansion/flowering out.

Will this get the job done from the distance it was tested? More than likely yes. While 9mm doesn't have the stopping power that a shotgun round has, I'd be able to get more shots on target, faster, than with a shotgun for sure.

Interesting test, but likely inconclusive until I test it with a barrier between the gel and the surroundings, i.e. clothing!
