Matrix Characters Coming to MULTIVERSUS?!

Datamining indicates that developer Player First Games may plan to add Matrix characters to Warner Bros.' crossover fighting game MultiVersus. Dataminer AisulMV, who leaked that the Wicked Witch of the West is coming to MultiVersus, recently found evidence indicating that Neo or one of his friends may be among the characters joining the game. According to AisulMV, a recent MultiVersus update added a Matrix Code particle animation and texture to the game. They shared both on Twitter, along with a newly added heart texture. None of these currently appear anywhere in the game, signaling that developers are laying the groundwork for new Matrix content coming relatively soon.
