Thousands protest in Leipzig against energy prices and against the sanctions

Mass demonstrations are linked, among other things, with demands to put Nord Stream 2 into operation , to lower gas prices and against the sanctions. At least 5,000 people came to Augustusplatz in Leipzig, a helicopter circled over the demonstrators, the police said.
