So what are my issues? History is the problem. Today is Labor Day, a U.S. national holiday observed on the first Monday of September. Unlike most U.S. holidays, it is celebrated without rituals, except for shopping, barbecuing, and the last day to wear white. For most people, it marks the last weekend of summer, the start of the school year, and a college football hangover.
