Carousel for children suddenly comes off and collapses: at least 10 injured mothers and children

1. At an amusement park in the Indian district of Mohali, part of the state of Punjab, on Sunday, August 4, the turntable of a carousel suddenly collapsed.

At least 10 people were involved, including mothers and children, suddenly sliding 25 meters along the shaft of the machinery.

As reported by the "India Tribune", the people involved suffer from head and neck pain and some of them are in a state of shock.

2. According to reports released by the Indian site, the people involved in the free fall of the carousel would report pain in the head, back and neck, while some children would be in a state of shock, but no one would have been seriously injured requiring surgery.

According to eyewitnesses of the incident, immediately after the accident the staff of the carousel fled, chased by those present, who immediately reported to the police the absence of adequate security measures.
