CHP hoist injured hiker off Half Moon Bay

This evening, CHP H-30 responded with San Mateo Cal Fire E-44 and AMR San Mateo County to a report of an injured hiker in the hills above Half Moon Bay.

As H-30 responded, E-44 located the hiker and started medical aid. H-30 arrived overhead and hoisted the hiker from the trail.

The hiker was flown from the trail to the Halfmoon Bay Airport and transferred to an AMR ambulance crew for transport to a local hospital.
