For those who are not familiar with this city, Chongqing is the biggest municipality in southwestern China, and has over 30 million of population. In 2020, the Globalization and World Cities Study Group and Network ranked Chongqing as one of the Beta level cities worldwide. In 2021, the total retail sales in Chongqing increased by 18.5%year on year, ranking third among all provinces of China.
