This is part 2 of a 2 part series on the physical therapy used in the treatment of Spondylolysis. It is very important that you run any therapy you chose to pursue by your physical therapist and or your doctor. Be advised this is not for severe cases on Spondylolysis or cases that have advanced to Spondylothesis. I strongly recommend that you wear a professionally made back brace until your condition is healed. The therapy you learn here does not cure the condition, but helps stabalize it in order to let the bone heal. It also provides more structural support for your back and more flexibility for your hamstrings. This in turn may help prevent any future recurrence. If you are one of the unfortunate ones that suffer from a chronic condition, then there exercises should help support the area and relieve you condition. Be advised that I am not a Sports Doctor, sports therapist, or physical therapist. I was "tentatively" diagnosed with Spondylolysis and this was the therapy was was prescribed for my condition. Fortunately, a bone scan (done much later) cleared me of Spondylolysis.
