The Chinese metaverse industry has just raised $780 million dollars. Apparently they aren't messing around.They believe the metaverse industry will be a whopping 5.8 trillion dollars by the year 2030, they might be right.
Two of the countries biggest companies in the industry are competing for this piece of the pie. Tencent and Netease Yaotai are both striving to be the best in the metaverse industry.
The metaverse seems to be this inevitable thing about to happen that takes over the world. Just like the internet did, slowly but surely everyone now has access to the internet one way or another. The next step in this realm would obviously be to submerge ourselves in this space where distance means nothing and we can fully interact with others from around the globe socially or financially.
