we're doing the dog food thing making the dogs some dinner to save money at $4 a can or $8 for 5kg of dog mince i had to make my own i decided to cook it to kill bad bacteria. I truly love making dog food and dog treats for our big puppies. It is so easy to make and saves me a ton of money. I don't have to spend hours in a store reading ingredient labels on dog food, or pet treats. I know exactly what my dogs are eating: beef, chicken, lamb and fish -- no preservatives, no meat by-products, just quality meat and fish, natural grains, vitamins and minerals vegetables we can't afford and don't feed 100 percent mince. Most people (myself included) started making dog food because it was the 'in thing to do'.

I'm pretty sure there were at least two dozen pet food companies in 2011 sharing their dog food recipes on Facebook. So here is my recipe, how we make it and what we feed our dogs. Personally, I think it's a good food, --
