MTD990 Repower 13 Magneto Swap

This engine has a 3 brush 6V generator. This is a 12V tractor. It barely keeps up with the current draw of the ignition.

So, I'm replacing it with a magneto. Now the ignition isn't running down the battery when the engine is running.

A 12V charging system will be added later.

Magneto timing is fixed. Set the crank shaft to top dead center. Install the magneto with the marked timing gear visible in the inspection hole. Timing done!
