"I finally pulled the trigger on an impact driver and this one does not disappoint. Its really quiet and has plenty of power for all "normal" screws. I've only gone through one box of screws but haven't killed the first battery yet so I can't comment on the longevity.

It would be nice if Milwaukee used the smart electronics in this driver to improve how the tool performs when you loose grip on the fastener. Currently when you have the trigger squeezed and start stripping the fastener it goes to full speed which wears your bits down faster. It should be able to sense the immediate decrease in torque while trigger position hasn't been changed and cut power or reduce speed nearly instantly."

"Would not drive any screw that was 6" or more in length. It just shuts off altogether, no matter what setting you have it on, or if you have a full battery..
For the price of this, it shouldn't have a problem doing this task, which is unfortunate because this was the specific reason I purchased this. Would not buy again. My dewalt easily drives 8 and 10 inch GRK screws without a problem. Guess I'll be sticking with dewalt."
