Our New Partridge Chantecler Chickens | Hickorycroft Farm Visit | MiAnU Acres | Canadian Youtubers

Today Angie, from MiAnU Acres and I picked up our new Partridge Chantecler Chickens from Hickorycroft Farm. We are both in the process of switching our chicken flock to only heritage breeds and getting away from hybrid breeds. The Partridge Chantecler Chickens are a Canadian Heritage breed that are very winter hardy. Partridge Chanteclers are a dual purpose breed. Partridge Chantecler are not prolific egg layers, are a larger breed that are great for both meat and eggs, they have a great personality that do well for families that have children and are great foragers. We have purchased this breed when we first began or flock over 5 years ago and purchased them from Chris and Stephanie, before they even began their youtube Channel "Hickorycroft Farm", and now want to get back into them.
