Making the Chanel Jacket #3 - Bodice Construction, Quilting, Trim & Hems!

Thank you for watching this video! I am using the book COUTURE SEWING, The Couture Cardigan Jacket, Secrets from a Chanel collector by Claire Shaeffer and I highly recommend that if you want to create this jacket you purchase the book. I am also using the Vogue 8804 pattern, which is also by Claire Shaeffer. I have modified the pattern to fit my needs as far as length and fitting issues. As I strive to follow Claire’s guidance in spirit, I do go on my own as far as technique.

Hello there.
Well, you have made it this far, and so have I... This time I am going to fully assemble the bodice. I am quilting the bodice to the lining, interfacing the hem, securing the lining, sewing on two types of trim, and so much more. Learning more of what works in the pattern for me and what I would do differently.
You are such a trooper for sticking in there!
