Deanne Criswell, an administrator for FEMA gave an update on the continuous water crisis in Jackson, MS. Jackson has been under a boil water advisory since July 30th due to flooding that damaged a water treatment plant. The damage has knocked out clean water access for 150 thousand people in the Jackson metropolitan area. People in Jackson will have to continue to use bottled water because FEMA has not presented a clear timeline for when the water treatment plant can be fixed.
