Learn how to become a better T-shirt re-maker via paint and or bleach

I like to buy a colored T-shirt with a picture or print already on it then make an area on the front and or the back for my own JPG picture heat transfer.
If I paint the area you must us the sticky part of tape or ducked tape to sand the fuzzy lint off then paint it again & sand that new fuzzy lint off so it makes a smooth surface. don't do any kind of transfer with the painted fuzzy's still on the T-shirt it looks like CRAP!
Or you can bleach an area but with bleach it eats the shirt. you need to spray or brush the bleach onto the T-shirt.
You can spry or brush the T-shirt if you use paint to make your heat transfer clean & clear.
I spay paint colored T-shirts with white touch up paint in a spay can. with bleach you need to only use a small amount of bleach otherwise is will eat up & ruin your T-shirt. it makes the T-shirt really thin then it tares really easy.
With paint it makes your T-shirt thicker. I like painting the area to be heat transferred over bleach.
I use clear packing tape to tape off the area then I paint it then after dry I take the clear packing tape off.
Painting you have total control of area to be painted. bleach is harder because it soaks more into the shirt then paint does BUT with both bleach & paint you MUST have a paper, cardboard or some type of divider in-between the front & the back of the shirt
Also when heat transferring an image you must have a divider in-between the front & back of the T-shirt!
when using paint you have straight lines to where the paint ends, with bleach its harder to make a straight line to where the bleach ends because bleach soaks into the T-shirt more then paint does.
Some fabrics or dye a T-shirt is made out of WILL NOT bleach at all so you MUST use paint to white out the area or you can do nothing to it!
I have T-shirts bleach wont even change the color no matter how much bleach you use but it still does ruin the T-shirt = makes it thin then tares the T-shirt. I've ruined 4 NEW T-shirts with bleach trying to white out an area! they tare without even touching the shirt. today is 9-4-22
