Dai and his father, Baran, put on an amazing display as they fight. Dai is able to hang with Baran due to his unique abilities of being half human. Seemingly evenly matched, Dai vows to vindicate his friends from the harm Baran brought to them. However, everyone, including Baran, notes that Baran himself isn't fighting Dai at full power! Increasing the intensity, Baran uses his ultimate attack, Dorurora, on Dai twice missing once. Dai, assuming Baran is now out of power, attempts to use this to his advantage and attack. However, Baran explains to him about how Draconic aura works and his attack fails. Baran uses his sword which is not affected by the draconic aura's power and attempts to use it against Dai. Crocodine does everything he can to stop Baran, but fails. Merle heals Hyunkel and Leona heals Crocodine and attempts to revive Popp. Hyunkel gets up and tells Crocodine he has a plan. Meanwhile, Dai seems to be flying for his life away from Baran.
