Don't keep all your eggs in one basket and one overlooked danger to all of us is the consolidation of most of what we buy into a few corporate big box stores.

Controlling the food supply would be easier to do if there were only a few big chain stores in an area. The same thing is true of gun stores and other types of shops we visit.

We need to support small business and independent farmers to help keep them in business. They can be a valuable resource during SHTF.
