Dry weather will continue for this holiday weekend under some cooler than normal temperatures. Temperatures will fall into the upper 40s and lower 50s tonight under north winds around 5 to 10 mph. Lakeshore areas will be cooler Sunday with highs in the upper 60s. You will need to head into the Fox Valley and further inland to get into the lower 70s. Northeast winds will continue to bring in the dry air. Monday (Labor Day) will be warmer as temperatures rebound into the lower to mid 70s with mostly sunny skies. The week ahead doesn't show any rainfall in the forecast for now. The only change will be temperatures that will warm slowly into the mid 80s by the middle of the week.
