The Othawa lionesses joined up with the Selati male lions again and lots of love was in the air. The lions were pairing frequently in the sand along the bed of the Sand River.
Lions will mate on average every 20 mins over 4 - 5 days. Pairing occurs every couple of weeks until the female is pregnant.
