There was a drug that worked and we weren't told about it!!!

In reviewing the early work of Baric, et al; work that included funding by NIH, I uncovered published research showing a drug that successfully prevented the replication of coronaviruses.

This drug has not been made available even though it proved successful. Another drug studied was remdesivir. Remdesivir failed to prevent the replicase enzyme from being made. Why was this first drug not announced and used? Why were vaccines rushed to market when a drug already existed that was successful? Why were more than a million Americans left to die and hundreds of thousands harmed?

This same drug was shown to reverse the amyloid damage to the brain caused by coronaviruses. Why has this harm been allowed to continue despite the excess deaths reported by the CDC?
