Jean Pierre Won't Answer What Actions Biden Will Take Against MAGA Republicans

CNN White House Correspondent Jeremy Diamond was silenced by White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre after he repeatedly demanded to know what "specific efforts" President Joe Biden would do to combat the MAGA "threat to democracy."

Inquiries about Biden's speech, "The Continued Battle for the Soul of the Nation," which mostly criticized former President Donald Trump and those who support the uprising that resulted in the attack on the Capitol on January 6, were addressed to Jean-Pierre at the news conference on Friday.

Biden asked Americans to band together in the address to oppose these "MAGA forces" and to use their "voices" and ballots to do so. Diamond made four attempts to get an answer, wanting to know what "specific acts" the president would take in addition to those entreaties:
