I'm still trying to work through this. Wanting to understand it fully, and asking to understand it. Understand letter and spirit because let's face it, there has been a whole lot of Ezra-Nehemiah like moments where the lost have been thrown out because of zealots who don't speak on love. Not going to name names, if you have ever had a reason to hate the religion of christianity rather than the deep relationship with our ABBA-GOD, you already know exactly what I mean; and if you don't know what I'm talking about, ask GOD to open your eyes to it if you are meant to see it. (I'm really not interested in adding to the 20 minutes of hate going on these days.) So you tell me, what do you see here? Because I see a type of love that I don't think most marriages now-a-days have in them.

There is the bit about unless his wife has been unfaithful and it makes me wonder if there isn't even more than what I am seeing, after all Jeremiah has a fair bit on it about Israel being the unfaithful spouse and I want to dig in more!
