China launches satellite into space

China has launched its Yaogan-33 02 satellite atop a Long March 4C carrier rocket from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in the northwest of the country. It will be used for scientific experiments, a census of national land resources, and estimates of agricultural crop yields.
