The road was opened on July 9, 1955. Since 1955, the railway operated a Kp steam locomotive and 6 wooden cars. Since 1967 two diesel locomotives TU2 series (number 010 and 113) and 6 all-metal Pafawag cars made in Poland began to operate. In 1971 the railway was named after Konstantin Sergeyevich Zaslonov - Belarusian partisan-railway worker, Hero of the Soviet Union. The main station "Park Kultury" was renamed "Zaslonovo.
In the mid-1980s the station "Zaslonovo" was overhauled, and in 1987 technical modernization of the road was carried out - autoblocking was installed, a new control room building was built at the station "Pionerskaya", the sand ballast layer was replaced by the macadam one. A new diesel locomotive (TU7A-2782) and 6 cars PV40 were put into service.
In 1994 the diesel locomotive TU2-010 was written off for scrap, and 6 Pafawag cars were completely smashed by local vandals. In 2005 the diesel locomotive TU2-113 was written off. Now it is parked at the Brest Museum of Railway Engineering.
In the same year of 2005 the cars produced in 1987 were sent for repairs. On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the railway, 6 overhauled cars were donated to the Gomel car-repair plant.
In summer 2008 the diesel locomotive TU7A-3350 was purchased.
In May 2009 the grand opening of the new training center with the profile classes, computer room and history room took place.
In 2013 6 cars PV40 were reconstructed at Minsk Car Repair Plant. Diesel locomotive TU7A-2782 also underwent reconstruction at Lida depot.
Currently there are two diesel locomotives TU7A-2782, TU7A-3350 and 12 cars of PV51 series at Children's railroad, two of which are equipped with a diesel generator set for lighting and heating of cars. All cars are equipped with radio broadcasting system for musical accompaniment and thematic excursions.
