We Lost Power | Making Breakfast On A Small Drolet Woodstove

About 2 weeks ago we lost power for about 4 days. We do not live off grid but having the proper necessities in your home can make all the difference. Having a woodstove, candles, a water source and a generator can make a huge difference. Today we cooked a full breakfast on a small Drolet Woodstove when we were without hydro. We were with out hydro for 4 days in the middle of December in Canada. When you live in the country you need to learn to live with what you have and to make things work when you need them too. We wanted a warm meal for breakfast so made a tasty meal using only a basic woodstove.
