CAN A CANE CORSO HiKE 6 MILES? ⛰️

Exploring new locations with my Cane Corso is one of my favorite things to do. I get to get him to a new location which is great for his mental stimulation, the hike is great physical exercise and it is just a wonderful bonding experience with your dog. But you always need to be able to take cues from your dog. ALWAYS keep them safe and cool. This hike was only supposed to be 3 miles long but Kara's map skills were off leading is in the wrong direction turning a 3 mile hike into a 6 mile hike. But we had lunch packed, which I shared mine with my Cane Corso and access to water to cool him down. It was a very cool day outside but this breed can have breathing issues due to the short snout and since he is black he can overheat in the sun very quickly. The majority of the walk was shaded but I still like to be careful none the less.
