@Gabriella Hoffman welcomes Sarah Montalbano, formerly a WSJ Bartley Fellow and current @Young Voices Regional Leader, to discuss the results of the Alaska special election to fill the At-Large Congressional seat held by the late Rep. Don Young (R-AK).
Young's successor, Democrat Mary Peltola, is the first Democrat to represent Alaska in the House since its inception. She'll serve out the remainder of his term. There's also a general election featuring four candidates: Mary Peltola, Sarah Palin, Nick Begich, and Tara Sweeney.
Sarah will break down Alaska adopting Ranked Choice Voting and discuss it should be replicated nationwide.
