Stay is one of those dog commands that can take some time for your dog to fully understand. Inching your way on the floor to me is not a stay. There are instances when I allow a little moving such as in a public place. If I have Bruce Wayne on a stay and leave the area.....being a guardian breed he wants to have eyes on me so if he repositions himself but still stays put I am ok with that. At home when there is no need to keep eyes on me I am more tighter in what their stay should be. Let's see if Joey Justice can stay with a big bowl of raw food in front of him and an empty belly.
