It doesn't always HAVE to be DRAMA when we repot orchids! 😅 Repotting this orchid was not necessary, there was plenty of space in the pot for the orchid to develop for another 2 years. BUT, the pot was brittle and desintigrating in my hands every time I touched the rim, sooo... we have new root growth and the temperatures were just perfect, and will stay fine for long enough. This orchid has plenty of time to adjust to having had pseudobulbs cut off and recover by continuing to grow the new root system.
