Etching Damascus?

CAN COFFEE ETCH THIS KNIFE - well lets do a little experiment on some stainless Damascus steel. I have seen a lot of knife makers do this with the usual carbon steel and high nickel pattern welded Damascus but I want to see if it works on this one. The knife we are using is my Ferrum Forge Knife Works Lackey which is a great little EDC fixed blade.
