The Ride of the Rohirrim and the Fall of the Witch-king (Peter Jackson and Judas Priest Mash-up)

A mash-up of footage from Peter Jackson’s movie “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King” (2003) and two Judas Priest songs — “Battle Hymn” and “One Shot at Glory” — from the 1990 album “Painkiller”.

The scene features the Ride of the Rohirrim and the Fall of the Witch-king, pivotal moments in J. R. R. Tolkien’s literary masterpiece “The Lord of the Rings” adapted to film by director Peter Jackson from 2001 through 2003, in three movies whose titles mirror the titles composing Tolkien’s trilogy: “The Fellowship of the Ring”, “The Two Towers”, and “The Return of the King”.

This video was made as a personal project to learn the process of video editing while paying tribute to one of the greatest if not the greatest fantasy films of all time along with one of the best and most iconic heavy metal bands of all time.
