Now he's reporting for a small-time paper in Las Vegas & giving news editor Tony Vincenzo the fits. It's here he gets the story of his life, a series of murders committed by a vampire.

Can we say anything more about this most popular character Kolchak? The Night Stalker became the highest rated original TV movie on US television, earning a 33.2 rating and 48 share. One item of note is that Robert Quarry was the 1st choice to be the Vampire, but was busy in London on other projects. Barry Atwater did a most admirable job.
