Utah computer scientist Jiri Navratil joins Kim and Carolyn to discuss ranked-choice voting (RCV) and Instant Runoff Voting (IRV). His curiosity led him to run analyses on a number of Utah municpal races that incorporated RCV in 2021 and discovered several shocking statistics. Navratil has published an academic paper about it.
