The Leadville Trail 100 is not just an iconic ultramarathon, it’s also one of the toughest races of its kind. This year, the DNF rate was 51% and crushingly Arron found himself in that number. Not because he wasn’t ready to grind every step to the finish line but because the math of cutoff times simply got in the way.
