When I create my songs often I have spare bars of music that I created but did not make into the final cut of the song. usually because they don't suit the song in question or would make the song to long etc.

When I created the 12 bar blues/jazz song called dance the night away I had two beats left over which did not fit into the song but sounded great for a hip hop beat in my opinion,.

So I took those beats and put them together in order to create the track I was to do my rap debut over. I tried to get the vocals as close to the 80s bands that I listend to in my late teens. Of influence are Silver Bullet, NWA (straight out compton album) Ice T, MC Hammer, Run DMC, Will Smith and Jazzy Jeff, LL cool J. The aim was to try to get the vocal rythum going but try to vary the inflection of the delivery as much as possible.

This is an homage and almost a parodoy of the 80s as I probably use to much of those variations in one track,. I really did enjoy making the track and I am happy with the result,
