Hi there, my name is Simon with SafeandVaultStore.com. Today we're going to talk about some serious high security safes made here in the USA by American Security in Fontana, California.

This pirticular CF series safe is fitted with a Sargent & Greenleaf Electronic Lock, also made in the USA. You can also get these with a variety of dial combination locks, including Group 1R dials which makes it meet the DEA requirements for Schedule I and II substance storage.

The CF series from American Security are TL-30 rated burglar safes which is one of the highest ratings that Underwriters Laboratory offers. You can see on this one it has a 6" thick door with nearly 3" of total steel thickness. The body itself is 3" thick with at least 1" of open hearth steel. You can see there are three 1-1/2" large locking bolts on the hinge side as well as on the opening side.

The CF Series from American Security also sports a two hour factory fire rating. It's tested at 1,850 degrees Fahrenheit, and the internal temperature remains under 350 degrees Fahrenheit, which is well below the combustion point of paper goods and cash.

This is the standard configuration for the CF4524. It has three high capacity adjustable metal shelves on the inside. These can also be configured with a large variety of internal lockers, cabinets, and drawers in various sizes. There are also smaller wooden cabinets available from American Security which can be used for jewelry organization in residential settings.
