Canada: COVID-19: Federal health officials discuss approval of Moderna bilvalent vaccine – September 1, 2022

In a virtual technical briefing, federal health officials discuss Health Canada's authorization of the Moderna bivalent vaccine, which targets the original SARS-CoV-2 virus from 2019 and the Omicron BA.1 variant. The vaccine is authorized as a booster dose for individuals 18 years of age and older and is the first bivalent COVID-19 vaccine approved in Canada.
