On Tuesday, MultiChoice, the show's producers, revealed that the seventh season of the reality competition will premiere on July 23 and 24, 2022.

The organisers said the show will return with a double launch show on July 23 and 24.

2. Fans have been warned to anticipate a lineup of tasks that will be more interesting, unforeseen twists, and Big Brother's humor.

3. The "fan-favorite Ninjas" and a live studio audience are returning this year. Fans of several housemates had previously been invited to the live eviction event, but it had been canceled due to COVID-19 restrictions.

4. Just like last year, there will be no SMS voting for the forthcoming season. The organizers said fans will vote for free using Big Brother Naija official website and mobile apps. This means the number of votes each subscriber will have will be determined by their subscription packages.

5. The Fave Lock-In promotion, which is only available to DStv and GOtv subscribers, will award 1 million Naira to thirty lucky fans.
