Bodycam footage released of police shooting unarmed black man

In episode #857 of ‘shoot first and ask questions later,’ Columbus police have released bodycam footage of the fatal shooting of Donovan Lewis. Law enforcement had been dispatched at 2.30am to Lewis’ apartment to serve warrants for ‘improper handling of a firearm, domestic violence, and assault.’

After accusing the dying Lewis of ‘resisting arrest’ for reluctantly crawling to be handcuffed, the police decided to call for medical assistance. However, Lewis would be pronounced dead less than an hour later.

All of the officers involved have been placed on administrative leave, the length of which ‘can and will vary based on their involvement,’ according to a police spokesman.
