Hello all -
In this weeks video I am making a 25lb batch of soap for a wholesale order. I didn't realize until I edited this video how sad I sounded.....you see just 3 days earlier my dear sweet Daddy passed away. This was a lot harder than I had expected it to be because we knew my Dad would die (cancer all over his body) and we had been preparing for it for several years. But once it came all the emotions hit me like a wall and I can say I didn't do well those first 2 weeks. Anyway - that was 4 months ago and I still miss him everyday...I miss his humor, him playing the piano and violin, his guidance & counsel. My sweet sweet Mother is so lost without him....they spent 53 years together. Death is hard and it affects everyone differently. So be kind, be patient because you never know when someone has just lost a loved one and is trying to cope with it the best they can. :)
