A criminal group that seized funds of the Ministry of Defense in the amount of $580,000 was exposed

According to the investigation, three members of the criminal group, including a lawyer, acting on behalf of the Ministry of Defense, organized the conclusion of a contract between the Ministry and a supplier of military ammunition from the Republic of Turkey in the amount of more than 16 million euros. After receiving confirmation of the transfer of funds to the Turkish company, they misled its managers and informed them that the Bahraini company had 1,000 military ballistic vests of level IV protection and the possibility of their urgent delivery to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
